Rasha is the founder of RK Leadership Consulting and one of the “Adaptive Leadership Network” of Harvard Practitioners around the world. Rasha holds a Master’s degree for Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and another Masters for Economics from the American University in Cairo.

The Chairman of the National Asset Management & Investment SAE and Ataa Investment Fund. He is a board member of the National Investment Bank, the Universal Health Insurance Authority, the French University in Egypt and other investment and education companies. Sherif is the former Chairman of CIB Bank and the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority. He previously served as Board member of the Central Bank of Egypt, the Investment & Free Zones Authority, Banque Du Caire, Suez Cement and Orange.

The Head of Information System and Digital Transformation Sector at National Organization for Social Insurance. He previously held the positions of the Assistant Director of Information Systems Department for the Armed Forces and the Commander of the Main Center of Smart Systems of the Armed Forces and the Head of Information System Branch of the Organization and Administration Authority of the Armed Forces.

 

Mr. Magdy Moheb
Kamil Kassabgui

Established Reliance in 1998, initially focusing on cement trading. His entrepreneurial vision and strategic acumen enabled him to expand the company into a fully integrated trading and logistics services provider for the cement industry. Over the first two decades, he pursued a strategy of vertical integration, gradually building businesses that complemented and enhanced the cement sector, including trucking, ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and alternative fuels. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from The American University in Cairo (AUC).

Mr. Gianfranco
Tantardini

Gianfranco Tantardini is the Regional Manager for the Mediterranean and Asia at Sinai Cement, bringing with him over 45 years of experience. He currently leads the company’s efforts to enhance industrial operations and drive development across the VICAT Group’s investments in 11 subsidiaries located in Egypt, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and India Tantardini’s career began with a distinguished 26-year tenure in the French Navy, after which he joined the VICAT Group as Vice President of Operations. He later advanced to become Country Manager for VICAT USA, where he successfully led a workforce of 1,800 employees and managed revenues exceeding €500 million. In 2017, he was appointed Area Manager for Egypt and Turkey, where he played a critical role in implementing industrial improvements, optimizing CO₂ management, and overseeing operations across 7 subsidiaries. Known for his crisis management capabilities and strategic insight in high-stakes environments, Tantardini brings exceptional expertise to his leadership at Sinai Cement. He holds a degree from the Institut National des Sciences et Techniques Nucléaires (1987) and completed the Finance for Executives program at INSEAD (2008). A trilingual professional, Tantardini is fluent in French, English, and Italian.

Tamer Magdy,
Chairman of Sinai Cement

Tamer Magdy is the Chairman of Sinai Cement as of March 2024, bringing with him over 19 years of experience. He currently leads the company in advancing its strategic vision and reinforcing its position as a key player within the Vicat Group’s investments in Egypt. Marking a key milestone in his career, Magdy joined Lafarge Egypt in 2002 as a Senior Financial Analyst, he held several critical roles within the finance department, including responsibilities in costing, plant controlling, and taxation. His expertise led him to become Head of Country Tax for Lafarge Egypt, where he shaped the company’s tax strategy. He later served as Head of Procurement Performance, Projects & Development, before concluding his tenure with Lafarge in November 2017. In 2017, Magdy joined ASCOM Mining as Group Chief Financial Officer. A year later in 2018, he became Egypt Country Manager and Managing Director of Sinai Cement Company until February 2024 — a position that laid the groundwork for his current leadership role as Chairman. Magdy is backed by an MBA in Finance from ESLSCA Business School in France in 2016, and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Business Administration from Helwan University in Cairo, Egypt in 1998.
